Meet the Matchmakers

What is your secret super power for recruiting the best candidates for your clients?

I have a real passion for this industry and I am a naturally tenacious person who is also very resourceful. My tenacity combined with my resourcefulness helps me to find that perfect "needle-in-a-haystack" candidate for my clients. I  also have a keen intuition when it comes to people and usually know right away where they would fit the best.

What is your favorite part about your business?

My favorite part is knowing I am helping to change the lives of our candidates when I place them in their career. I also love knowing I helped our clients find that essential "missing link" in their team.

Since all work and no play makes for a dull life, what do you do for fun?

I love to ride horses with my sweetheart, Dan, in the high country. The Hallelujah Trail in the Sierras is our absolute favorite. In the spring and summer, I love to garden on our ranch and be with all of our animals, especially our new chickens. In the winter, you can find me in Bikram Yoga where I can relax.

What's your kryptonite?

Coffee! Really strong coffee!

What is your secret super power for recruiting the best candidates for your clients?

I have a genuine need to be around and with people – connecting with them and learning about them, which means I ask a lot of questions and I listen. Growing up my family moved a lot and as “the new kid” I was forced to learn to reach out to people and not wait to be invited to join a group or a team. As a recruiter, it is really important that I get to know a candidate and find that “nugget”, that something special, that sets them apart from the rest so I can connect them with the right client.

What is your favorite part about your business?

Knowing when you’ve made a great match and working hard to make it happen on both sides.

Since all work and no play makes for a dull life, what do you do for fun?

I spend a lot of time with my family and friends – we love exploring new restaurants at home and when traveling. We spend our summers boating on the beautiful lakes of California and our winters skiing the slopes. And if I can find time to myself, I’ll pick up a book or exercise.

What’s your kryptonite?

Good coffee, wine and cheese – now that’s a great day!
